We are looking for a 2-3 year out Graduate of Architecture to work with us at our Manly Beach studio on an exciting mix of bespoke residential projects, public buildings and community projects.
If you have an eye for detail, technical aptitude, and a considered approach to architecture with an interest in socially and environmentally sustainable design then we would like to hear from you. We have a position available to join our small dedicated team of professionals, who are passionate about architecture and its role in serving the community.
Role description:
The opportunity involves working on bespoke residential projects including renovations and new dwellings. Along side this you will have the opportunity to be involved in the design and delivery of public and community buildings such as a new surf club at Maroubra, a new public amenities building in Glebe, and a new library and community hub in Windale.
The role extends across all architectural stages including concept design, community/stakeholder consultation (public projects), design development, construction documentation (2D and 3D), liaising with Council, consultants and suppliers.
Working under the direction of senior team members and the Director, the role is suited to creative thinkers who enjoy workshopping ideas as part of an open studio environment, and who can also work independently in a considered and methodical manner.

Requirements:
2-3 years post-graduate office experience in Australia
High proficiency at Vectorworks 3D, or similar 3D BIM package.
Strong graphic skills and proficiency at Adobe CS Suite.
Knowledge of SketchUp ideal but not essential.
5-6 Year out nsw registered architect role:
The opportunity involves working on bespoke residential projects including renovations and new dwellings. The candidate would work closely with the Director at concept design stage and then take the project forward confidently with regular touch points along the way.
As we are a small team the role offers the opportunity to work across all aspects of architectural practice and stages of design, including concept design, community/stakeholder consultation (public projects), design development, 2D/3D documentation and contract administration. Managing projects with independence and accuracy. We also encourage a collaborative and open studio environment to test and finesse design ideas as a group.
Candidates with a thoughtful design process, a passion for construction detailing, technical aptitude for 2D and 3D CAD and good knowledge of local building codes (NCC and Australian Standards) and planning controls are invited to apply.
